Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the “ Public Works Committee (Amendment) Act, 1906.”

Repeal of section 4 of	2. Section four of the Public Works Committee Act, 1904, is

Act, 1904.	hereby repealed.
Indemnity to	3. The Colonial Treasurer, the officers of the Treasury, and all jicrsons concerned or engaged in making any payments during the financial years 1905-1900 and 1906-1907 in excess of the respective amounts authorised by section four of the Public Works Committee Act, 1904, are hereby indemnified and held liarmless for and in respect of any such payments made or to be made.
