1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Public Trustee (Interest Rate) Amendment Regulation 2020.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 1 February 2020.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Public Trustee Regulation 2012.

4   Amendment of s 4 (Interest payable on amounts in common fund—Act, s 19(1)(c))

Section 4(2), ‘1.05%’—
omit, insert—

0.85%

5   Amendment of sch 1 (Interest payable on amounts in common fund)

Schedule 1, items 2(c) and 3, ‘0.65%’—
omit, insert—

0.5%
