Regulations under the Public Trustee Act

I, JAMES HENRY MUIRHEAD, the Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Public Trustee Act.

PUBLIC TRUSTEE (ELECTIONS TO ADMINISTER
ESTATES) REGULATIONS

1. CITATION

These Regulations may be cited as the Public Trustee (Elections to Administer Estates) Regulations.

1. ELECTIONS FOR SMALL ESTATES

(1) For the purposes of section 53(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $65,000.

(2) For the purposes of section 53(5) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $75,000.

1. ELECTIONS FOR PART ADMINISTERED               ESTATES

(1) For the purposes of section 54(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $65,000.

(2) For the purposes of section 54(3) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $75,000.
