Public Trustee Amendment Regulations 2006

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Trustee Act 1930 .18 September 2006

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Public Trustee Amendment Regulations 2006 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the Trustee Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2006 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Public Trustee Regulations 1999 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 9A insertedAfter regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation is inserted: 9APrescribed amounts for purposes of certain sections of Act (1) For the purpose of section 20(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $60 000. (2) For the purpose of section 20(4)(a) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $65 000. (3) For the purpose of section 20A(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $20 000. (4) For the purpose of section 20A(5) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $25 000. (5) For the purpose of section 32(1)(y) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $20 000. (6) For the purpose of section 34(1)(b) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $20 000. (7) For the purpose of section 56(c) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $20 000. (8) For the purpose of section 63(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $20 000. (9) For the purpose of section 74(1) of the Act, the prescribed amount is $60 000.
