AN ACT to amend the Public Trustee Act, 1941-1950.

[Assented to 7th December, 1953.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Public Short title and cittion.

Trustee Act Amendment Act, 1953.

(2) In this Act the Public Trustee Act, 1941-1950,

Act No. 26 of 1941 as amended by Acts Nos. 12

of 1947, and 7 of 1950,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Public Trustee Act, 1941-1953.

amended. 2. Subsection (2) of section thirty-eight of the principal Act is amended by substituting for paragraph (a) the following:

(a) as to the gross capital of an estate which-

(i)    does not exceed one hundred pounds, the sum of five pounds;

(ii)    exceeds one hundred pounds, the sum of ten pounds or two and a half per centum whichever is the greater; .

amended. 3. Subsection (4) of section forty of the principal

Act is amended by

(a)	substituting for the word "quarterly" in line six the words "half yearly";
(b)	deleting the words "January" and "July" in line seven.
