Public Transport Authority Amendment

Regulations 2007

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Public Transport Authority
Amendment Regulations 2007.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendment in these regulations is to the Public Transport
Authority Regulations 2003*.

3.             Regulation 44 amended

After regulation 44(2) the following subregulations are inserted —

44

(3) If —

(a)	the ticket produced to an authorised person is a ticket belonging to a person who is registered with the Authority as the owner of the ticket; and
(b)	the owner has notified the Authority that the ticket has been lost or stolen,

(4) If the ticket produced to an authorised person is not
valid under regulation 5(f) because it is not being used
in accordance with a condition that it be used only by
the person to whom it was issued, the authorised
person may retain the ticket and return it to the person
to whom it was issued.
