REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1972.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1972, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations 

First Schedule.

1. Part I. of the First Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended by omitting Group 97 and inserting in its stead the following group:—

“Group 97
Specialist Adviser, Australian Art…………	6,704-7,004-7,304-7,604
Specialist Adviser, Primitive Art…………..	10,000-10,400”.

Third Schedule.

2. Part I. of the Third Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.

Fourth Schedule.

3. The Fourth Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.

Amendments of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations

1. Omit item 31, insert the following items:
31	Quarantine Assistant, Grade 1...............	1 He shall be paid an allowance at the rate of 64 dollars if he holds a Master’s Certificate, Rivers and Harbour, issued in accordance with the law of a State or Territory of the Commonwealth.
	Quarantine Assistant, Grade 2...............
	Quarantine Assistant, Grade 3...............
2 He shall be paid an allowance at the rate of 125 dollars if he holds the qualifications determined by the Board under section 53 of the Act to be the qualifications for transfer or promotion to an office of Quarantine Inspector.
