REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1974.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1974, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations 

Certain officers of Third Division to be paid at rates applicable to officers of Fourth Division.

1. Regulation 8 of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended by inserting after the words—

“Electrical Trainee”

the words—

“Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 1

Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 2

Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 3”.

Schedule 3—Part I.

2. Part I of Schedule 3 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting after Group 99 the following group:—

Group 99a

Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 1

9,085-9,362-9,639-10,473

Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 2

9,918-10,195-10,473-11,386

Fall-out Shelter Surveyor, Grade 3

12,370-12,712”;

and

(b) by omitting Group 381 and substituting the following group:—

“Group 381

Weights and Measures Inspector

6,800-7,000-7,200-7,400-7,600-7,800-8,000-8,200

Weights and Measures Superintendent................

9,550-9,800-10,050-10,300”.
