Public Service (Salaries) Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

1. Part I of Schedule 1 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended by omitting Groups 1 and 2 and substituting the following groups;

Application

2. (1) Subject to sub-regulation (2), the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply in relation to the rate of salary per annum, or the scale of rates of salary per annum, of an officer who occupies an office in the Third Division described in Column 1 of Part I of Schedule 1 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations, in Group 1 or 2 , in respect of any period after 6 November 1980.

(2) In respect of the period that commenced on 7 November 1980 and ended on 14 January 1981, the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply in relation to the rate of salary per annum, or the scale of rates per annum, of an officer who occupies an office in the Third Division described in Column 1 of Part I of Schedule 1 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations, in Group 1 or 2, as if the following groups were substituted for Groups 1 and 2 in Part I of that Schedule:
