Short title. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “ Public Service

Salaries (F urther Amendment) Act, 1936.”

(2) The Public Service Salaries Act, 1931-1936, as amended Ity this Act, may be cited as the Public Service Salaries Acts, 1931-1936.

of Act No. 2 . The Public Service Salaries Act. 1931-1936, is

amended by inserting next after section four the follow­

ing new section:—

Eeduction of	4a. Whore pursuant to section four of this Act a deduction is required to be made from the salary of an officer, then, as from the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, the amount of the dednetion which, but for this section, would have been applicable in res])cet of tbe salary of such officer, shall bo reduced by fifty per centum.
