REGULATION UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1972.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1972, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General the following Regulation.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations 

Conditions of transfer or promotion from Fourth Division to Third Division.

Regulation 112 of the Public Service Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (1), after the word “degree” (second occurring), the words “of an Australian college of advanced education or”; and

(b) by inserting after sub-regulation (1) the following sub-regulation:—

“(1aa) For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the last preceding sub-regulation, ‘college of advanced education’ means a college of advanced education within the meaning of the Australian Commission on Advanced Education Act 1971.”.
