REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1972.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1972, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service REGULATIONS 

Recording and payment of overtime.

1. Regulation 67 of the Public Service Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in sub-regulation (6b.), after the word “rate” (last occurring), the words “of overtime payable to an officer who is in receipt of salary at the rate”; and

(b)by omitting from sub-regulation (14.) the figures “$2.15” and inserting in their stead the figures “$3.54”.

Travelling time.

2. Regulation 69 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the figures “$6,417.00” and inserting in their stead the figures “$7,002.00”.

Sunday duty.

3. Regulation 70 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (6a.) the figures “$2.15” and inserting in their stead the figures “$3.54”.

Rates of travelling allowances.

4. Regulation 75a of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words “Fourteen thousand three hundred and seventy-five dollars per year” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “the rate specified in the Second Column of the table in regulation 5 of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations opposite to a Level 1 office in the First Column”.

Class of travelling accommodation to be provided.
