Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulation.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby approve the following Regulation.

After regulation 109f of the Public Service Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

 

Protection of members of Promotions Appeal Committees and Central Promotions Appeal Committees

“109fa. An action or proceeding, civil or criminal, does not lie against a member (including the Chairman) of a Promotions Appeal Committee or of a Central Promotions Appeal Committee for or in respect of any act or thing done in good faith by the member in his capacity as such a member”.
