Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922,hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Repeal

1. Regulations 79e, 80a, 89a, 93A, 94, 95, 95a, 97b and 98aa of the Public Service Regulations are repealed.

Saving

2. Notwithstanding the repeal of regulation 98aa by regulation 1, where, before the commencement of these Regulations, regulation 98aa applied to an officer, regulation 98aa continues to apply to that officer—

(a) in the case where sub-regulation 98aa (1a) applied—for a period of two consecutive calendar years beginning on 1 January 1983; or

(b) in the case where sub-regulation 98aa (3) applied—for a period of one calendar year beginning on 1 January 1983.
