Regulations2 (Amendment)
THE
PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority
conferred upon it by the Public Service
Act 1922,hereby makes, subject
to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

1. Regulation 74a of the Public Service Regulations is
repealed.

Regulations 90, 90a and 90b of the Public Service Regulations are
repealed.

of the Public Service Regulations are repealed.
Interpretation
8.
Regulation 139 of the Public
Service Regulations is amended by omitting paragraphs (3) (a), (b) and (c) and substituting the following
paragraphs:
“(a)
an allowance payable under regulation 97e;
or
(b)
an allowance payable under any determination made under section 82d of the Act in respect of—
(i)
electricity;
(ii)
medical, dental or specialist treatment;
(iii)
accommodation on transfer of a person from one locality to another;
(iv)
the cost of fares of children attending school away from the locality at which
a person is stationed;
(v)
the sale or purchase of a home.”
Payment
of travelling or motor vehicle allowance

Regulation 175 of the Public
Service Regulations is amended by omitting “Regulations
75 to 78 (inclusive) and 80a,
Public Service Board Determination 1981/1
in so far as it relates to travelling allowance and Public Service Board
Determination 1981/3 apply” and substituting “Any determination made under section 82d of the Act in respect of travelling
allowance or the use of a private vehicle for official purposes applies”

Regulation 176 of the Public
Service Regulations is amended by omitting “Regulations
75 to 78 (inclusive), 80a,
119 and 120, Public Service
Board
Determination 1981/1 in so far as it relates to travelling allowance and Public
Service Board Determination 1981/3 and Public Service Board Determination
1981/5 apply,” and substituting “Any determination made under section 82D of the Act in respect
of travelling allowance, the use of a private vehicle for official purposes or
any allowance payable on transfer of a person from one locality to another
applies,”
