Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922,hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulation.

After regulation 171 of the Public Service Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Office that is a public office

“171a. The office of member of the Joint Coal Board constituted in pursuance of an arrangement under sub-section 5 (1) of the Coal Industry Act 1946 is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of ‘public office’ in sub-section 87 (1) of the Act”.
