Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922,hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

1. Regulation 171aa of the Public Service Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Public authorities for the purposes of Part IV of the Act

“171aa. (1) For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of ‘public authority’ in sub-section 87(1) of the Act, each body corporate specified in Column 2 of Schedule 3a in an item in that Schedule, being a body corporate, other than a Commonwealth authority, in which the Commonwealth or a Commonwealth authority has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest, is prescribed.

“(2) For the purposes of paragraph (d) of the definition of ‘public authority’ in sub-section 87 (1) of the Act, each body corporate specified in Column 2 of Schedule 3b in an item in that Schedule is prescribed.”.

2. After Schedule 3 to the Public Service Regulations the following Schedules are inserted:
