Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulation.

Regulation 165 of the Public Service Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Employees to whom this Part applies

“165. This Part applies to an employee referred to in paragraph 63t(a), (b) or (c) of the Act other than—

(a) an employee who is employed or engaged overseas to perform duties overseas;

(b) an employee referred to in paragraph 63t(c) of the Act who has been engaged by a Department to serve for a period of not less than one year on the understanding that the employee will be appointed to the Service on the granting of Australian citizenship to the employee, being an employee who has not become an employee referred to in paragraph 63t(a) or (b) of the Act; or

(c) an employee employed under sub-section 30 (8) of the Public Service and Statutory Authorities Amendment Act 1985.”.
