Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Public Service Act 1922.

Commencement

1. (1) Paragraph 2 (a) shall be taken to have commenced on 14 November 1988.

(2) Paragraph 2 (b) shall be taken to have commenced on 14 December 1988.

(3) Paragraph 2 (c) shall be taken to have commenced on 1 January 1989.

(4) Paragraph 2 (d) shall be taken to have commenced on 26 January 1989.

Schedule 3

2. Schedule 3 to the Public Service Regulations is amended:

(a) by inserting before item 1 the following item:

“1a Office of Managing Director of the Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation”;

(b) by inserting after item 1 the following items:

“1b Office of Chief Executive of the Australian Industry Development Corporation

1c Office of Managing Director of the Australian National Railways Commission”;

(c) by inserting after item 2 the following items:

“2a Office of Managing Director of the Australian Postal Corporation

2b Office of Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia

2c Office of Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia”; and

(d) by adding at the end the following item:

“3a Office of Managing Director of the Australian Shipping Commission”.
