Public Service Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Public Service Act 1922.

Promotions under section 50 of the Act: notification of vacancies

Regulation 112 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following paragraph:

“(d) a decision by the relevant Secretary to fill in the Defence Signals Directorate in the Department of Defence an office the duties of which are those of a Defence Officer and that has the classification of:

(i) Administrative Service Officer Class 4;

(ii) Administrative Service Officer Class 5; or

(iii) Administrative Service Officer Class 6;

is a prescribed circumstance.”.
