REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1960.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1960, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

AMENDMENTS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS. 

Commencement.

1.—(1.) Regulations 4, 5, 6 and 7 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the eleventh day of August, 1960.

(2.) Regulations 2, 3, 8 and 9 of these Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the eighth day of September, 1960.

Salaries payable to officers of the Second or Third Division.

2. Regulation 104 of the Public Service Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (8.) the figures “£655” and inserting in their stead the figures “£685”; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) of that sub-regulation the figures “£532” and inserting in their stead the figures “£562”.

Salaries of officers of the Fourth Division.

3. Regulation 106 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from Item 5 of the table in sub-regulation (5.) the figures “303”, “363”, “407”, “455” and “503” and inserting in their stead the figures “308”, “373”, “422”, “475” and “528”, respectively.

8. Regulation 112 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the figure “£385” and inserting in its stead the figure “£400”.

9. The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting designation numbers 601 and 602 and the particulars opposite to those numbers;

(b) by omitting designation numbers 60, 336 and 723 and the particulars opposite to each of those numbers and inserting in their stead, respectively, the following designation numbers and particulars:—
