AMENDMENTS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS.

a ) by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table: —

b ) by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the words “Three pounds seventeen shillings” and inserting in their stead the words “Four pounds ten shillings”; and(
c ) by omitting sub-regulation (3.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—“(3.) After an officer or employee has resided in the one locality for a period of twenty-one days, the officer or employee shall be paid an allowance equal to the amount expended by the officer or employee on accommodation, sustenance and incidental expenses or, if the Board is satisfied that the amount so expended is not reasonable having regard to the status of the officer or employee and the purposes for which the officer or employee is performing duty whilst absent from his headquarters, such amount as the Board considers reasonable in the circumstances.”.

a ) by omitting the words “, subject to the provisions of sub-regulation (3.) of regulation 75A,” (wherever occurring); and(
b ) by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table:—
