1962. No. 33.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1960.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1960, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

AMENDMENTS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS. 

1. Regulation 104 of the Public Service Regulations is amended—

Salaries payable to officers of the Second or Third Division.

(a) by omitting Table A from sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table:—

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (4.) the figures “£758” and inserting in their stead the figures “£808”;

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (5.) the figures “£758” and “600” and inserting in their stead the figures “£808” and “613”, respectively;

(d) by omitting from the table in sub-regulation (6.) the figures “758”, “808” and “858” and inserting in their stead the figures “808”. “858” and “913”, respectively;

(e) by omitting from the table in sub-regulation (7.) the figures “604”, “654” and “704” and inserting in their stead the figures “654”, “704” and “759”, respectively; and

(f) by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (8.) the figures “£600” and inserting in their stead the figures “£613”.

Allowances in addition to salary.

2. Regulation 105 is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (3.) the following sub-regulation:—

“(4.) An officer who is paid salary in pursuance of sub-regulation (8.) of the last preceding regulation and has not attained the age of 21 years may be paid an allowance at the rate of £105 per annum.”.

Salaries of officers of the Fourth Division.

3. Regulation 106 is amended by omitting from Item 9 of the table in sub-regulation (5.) the figures “600” and inserting in their stead the figures “613”.

First Schedule.

4, The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the figures “£758-” from the fifth column opposite to designation number 633.
