Amendments of the Public Service Regulations
(a) by omitting from the first proviso the words, "and any such case shall be reported to the Board by the Chief Officer"; and
(
b ) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—" (2.) The last preceding sub-regulation does not prevent the grant to an officer of a period of leave of absence for

recreation equal to a period of leave that lapsed by virtue of the last preceding sub-regulation where the Board is satisfied that the officer has been prevented by illness from taking the period of leave that lapsed.".

(
a ) by omitting from paragraph (a ) the figures "£1,408" and inserting in their stead the figures "£1,738"; and(
b ) by omitting from paragraph (b ) the figures "£1,254" and inserting in their stead the figures "£1,584".
(2.) Regulation 110a of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from the Table in sub-regulation (2.) the words—
