REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1960.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by thePublic Service Act 1922-1960, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations,

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations. 

Conditions of transfer from Fourth Division to Third Division.

1. Regulation 112 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the figures " £968 " and inserting in their stead the figures " £1,175 ".

The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting designation numbers 25, 44, 85, 86, 90, 94, 110, 169, 170, 178, 179, 229, 394, 439, 549, 554 and 660 and the particulars opposite to each of those numbers and inserting in their stead, respectively, the following designation numbers and particulars:—

Authority for payment of allowances.

3. The Public Service Board may authorize the payment of an allowance, in respect of the period that commenced on the second day of May, 1963, and ended on the day immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, to each officer and employee of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of the officer or employee being not less than the total remuneration that would have been payable to the officer or employee in respect of that period if the amendments made by these Regulations had taken effect on the second day of May, 1963.
