REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1960.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1960, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

4. The Second Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by inserting after item 17 the following item:—

17a

Observer, Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology, Department of the Interior

1. He shall, while in charge of an observing station, be paid, under such conditions as are, from time to time, approved by the Board, an allowance equal to the difference between his salary and the salary which would be payable to him from time to time if the scale of rates of annual salary of the office was £1,238–£1,280–£1,322”.
