REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1964.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1964, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations  

Applications for temporary employment.

1. Regulation 123 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (3.).

Authority for payment of allowance.

4. The Public Service Board may authorize the payment of an allowance to each officer or employee who, on or after the eighth day of July, 1965, and before the commencement of this regulation, held, or performed the duties of, an office referred to in item 128l, 128m, 128n, 128p or 128q of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of that officer or employee for the period during which he so held or performed the duties of that office being not less than the total remuneration that would have been payable to that officer or employee in respect of that period if the amendments made by these Regulations had taken effect on the eighth day of July, 1965.
