REGULATION UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922,hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulation.

After regulation 4 of the Public Service Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

Application of Public Service Act to certain offices of A.C.T. authorities.

“4a. (1) The office of Commissioner, Capital Territory Health Commission, established by the Health Commission Ordinance 1975 of the Australian Capital Territory is an office to which sub-section 25 (4c) of the Act applies.

“(2) Officers and employees whose duties relate solely to the performance by the Capital Territory Health Commission of its functions comprise the part of the Service in relation to which the holder of the office specified in sub-regulation (1) is to have the powers of a Permanent Head under the Act.

“(3) The office of Chief Education Officer established by the Schools Authority Ordinance 1976 of the Australian Capital Territory is an office to which sub-section 25 (4c) of the Act applies.

“(4) Officers and employees whose duties relate solely to the performance by
