REGULATIONS UNDER THE
PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1967.*
THE
PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority
conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1967, hereby makes, subject to, the approval of the
Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments
of the Public Service Regulations
Partial
reimbursement of fares of certain officers.
1.
Regulation
98aa of the Public Service
Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1.) the figures
" $2,064.00 " and inserting in their stead the figures " $2,180.00
".

these Regulations.

SECOND SCHEDULE Regulation 3.
AMENDMENTS OF THE SECOND SCHEDULE TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE
REGULATIONS

3. Canteen Assistant..........................................................................
| 1. He shall, while employed as first
assistant to the Canteen Manager, New South Wales or Victoria, be paid an
allowance equal to the difference between his salary and the salary which
would be payable to him from time to time if the scale of rates of annual
salary of the office were $2,279–$2,350–$2,408.

11. Mail Officer..........................................................................
| 1. He shall be paid an allowance at the
rate of $116 per annum if—
|
(a) he has passed the test determined by the Board for the
purpose; and
|
(b) he has not attained the age of 21 years.
|
2. In addition to the allowance
specified in the last preceding paragraph, he shall be paid an allowance at
the rate of $71.00 per annum if—
|
(a) he has, after passing the
test referred to in the last preceding paragraph, passed the test determined
by the Board for the purpose of this paragraph; and
|
(b) he has not attained the age
of 21 years.
|
3. The allowances under this item shall
cease to be payable on the day immediately prior to the date on which the
officer attains the age of 21 years.
