1968 No. 73

REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1967.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1967, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations 

Miscellaneous allowances.

1. Regulation 89a of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (2.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—

“ (2.) An allowance at the rate of $0.17 per hour and calculated from the time of departure from his headquarters to the time of return to his headquarters is payable to an officer on the staff of a travelling post office who, in the performance of his duties as such an officer, travels on a journey that does not result in the officer being absent overnight from his headquarters.”.

First Schedule.

2. The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.

Second Schedule.

3. The Second Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.

Fourth Schedule.

4. The Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations.
