UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*
THE
PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority
conferred upon it by the Public
Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of
the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments
of the Public Service Regulations
Salaries payable to officers of the Fourth Division.
1. Regulation 106 of the Public Service Regulations is amended
by inserting after sub-regulation (7.) the following sub-regulation:—
“ (7a.) The
Board may determine that an officer who has not attained the age of twenty-one
years and who occupies an office of Student Nurse (Female), Department of
Health, Northern Territory, shall be paid salary at a rate, ascertained by
reference to the period of her service in that office, in accordance with the
table in this sub-regulation.

Second Schedule.
3. The Second Schedule to the Public Service
Regulations is amended by omitting from Item 42 the words “ and her rate of
salary does not exceed $2,038.00 per annum ” (in the third column).
