REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations 

First Schedule.

1. The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.

Fourth Schedule.

2. The Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.

Authority for payment of allowance.

3. The Public Service Board may authorise the payment of an allowance in respect of the period that commenced on the twenty-ninth day of August, 1968, and ended on the day immediately before the commencement of these Regula­tions, to each officer or employee who performed the duties of an office of Assistant Mint Craftsman, Mint Craftsman, Grade 1, Mint Craftsman, Grade 2, Mint Craftsman, Grade 3, Mint Craftsman, Grade 4, Supervising Mint Crafts­man, Grade 1, Supervising Mint Craftsman, Grade 2 or Supervising Mint Craftsman, Grade 3 during the whole or part of that period of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of the officer or employee for the whole or the part of that period being not less than the total remuneration that would have been payable to that officer or employee if the amendments made by regulation 1 of these Regulations had taken effect on the twenty-ninth day of August, 1968.
