REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.1

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Dated this twenty-first day of July, 1969.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and 'over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby approve the following Regulations.

AMENDMENTS OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS2

Partial re-imbursement of fees of certain officers.

1. Regulation 98aa of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:-

“ (b) is in receipt of a salary not exceeding—

(i) in the case of a male officer—the rate of annual salary specified in the table in sub-regulation (6.) of regulation 105 of these Regulations in relation to a male officer whose age is twenty years; or

(ii) in the case of a female officer—the rate of annual salary specified in Group 465 in Part II. of the First Schedule to these Regulations in relation to the office of Stenographer (Female), Grade 2; and

Salaries payable to officers of the Third Division.

2. Regulation 105 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by inserting in Table A in sub-regulation (8.), after the words “ Cadet Examiner of Patents ”, payable to officers of the Third Division the words “ Cadet Forestry Officer ”."

3. The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
