STATUTORY RULES

1969 No. 147

REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations  

Creation and constitution of Joint Council.

1. Regulation 72b of the Public Service Regulations is amended—

(a)by omitting from sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (c) of sub regulation (1.) the words “ High Council of Commonwealth Public Service Organizations ” and inserting in their stead the words “ Council of Commonwealth Public Service Organisations ”; and

(b) by inserting after sub-regulation (1.) the following sub-regulation:—

“ (1a.) In sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (c) of the last preceding sub-regulation, ‘ organizations affiliated with the Council of Commonwealth Public Service Organisations ’ do not include such organizations or branches of organizations as are affiliated only with a Division or Divisions of that Council.”.

Miscellaneous allowances.

2. Regulation 89a of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the symbol and figures “ $0.17 ” and inserting in their stead the symbol and figures “ $0.20 ”.

First Schedule.

3.—(1.) Part I. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.

(2.) Part II. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.

(3.) Part III. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations.

Second Schedule.

4. The Second Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph 3. of Item 37 and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—

“ 3. She shall be paid an allowance at the rate of $379.00 per annum while in charge of the Central Sterilizing Department of the Repatriation General Hospital, Concord, of the Repatriation General Hospital, Heidelberg, or of the Repatriation General Hospital, Greenslopes.”.

Fourth Schedule—Part I.

5. Part I. of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting Group 88 and inserting in its stead the following Group:—
