REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendment of the Public Service Regulations 

Fourth Schedule.

1. Part I. of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting Group 1 and inserting in its stead the following group:—

Authority for payment of allowance.

2. The Public Service Board may authorize the payment of an allowance, in respect of the period that commenced on the first day of January, 1970 and ended on the day immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, to each officer or employee who performed the duties of an office specified in Group 1 of Part I. of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations as amended by these Regulations during the whole or part of that period of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of the officer or employee for the whole or the part of that period being not less than the total remuneration that would have been payable to that officer or employee if the amendment made by the last preceding regulation had taken effect on the first day of January, 1970.
