REGULATION UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulation.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby approve the following Regulation.

Amendment of the Public Service Regulations 

Fifth Schedule.

Part I. of the Fifth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting Item 2a and inserting in its stead the following item:—

“ 2a.

Teacher, Grado 1............................

1.

He shall be paid an allowance at the rato of

Teacher, Grade 2............................

$135.00 per annum while associated with the

Teacher, Grade 3............................

teaching of aboriginal children.

Pro-School Officer..........................

Teacher, Grade 1............................

2.

He shall be paid, in addition to the allowance specified in the last paragraph, an allowance at the rate of $350.00 per annum while in charge of a school of the kind known as a one-teacher school ”.
