Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Public Service Act 1922.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1993.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

3.1   Definitions of “excess period”, “recreation leave limit”, and “sitting week”:

Omit the definitions.

4.   Part 3 (Recreation leave)

4.1   Omit the Part.

5. Regulation 23 (Repeal of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations)

5.1   Subregulation 23 (3):

Omit the subregulation.
