Authority for payment of allowances.
2.
The Parliamentary Head may authorize the payment of an allowance, in respect of
the period that commenced on the second day of May, 1963, and ended on the day
immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, to each officer or
employee who, at any time during that period, occupied, or performed the
functions of an office the designation of which is inserted in The Schedule to
the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations by the last preceding
regulation of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of the
officer or employee being not less than the total remuneration that would have
been payable to the officer or employee in respect of that period if the
amendments made by that regulation had taken effect on the second day of May,
1963.
