Statutory Rules 1964, No. 42.(b)

 

Salaries payable to officers of the Second and Third Divisions.

1. Regulation 71 of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulations (1.) and (1a.) and inserting in their stead the following sub-regulation:—

 

(b) Made under the Public Service Act 1922-1964 on 12 March, 1964; notified in the Commonwealth Gazette on 19 March, 1964.

“(1.) For the purposes of sub-section (2.) of section 30 of the Act, the rate of annual salary or the scale of rates of annual salary payable to a male officer who occupies an office in the Second Division or the Third Division is, subject to this regulation, that rate or scale of rates specified in the table in this sub-regulation which is appropriate to that office having regard to its classification.
