REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over
the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive
Council, and on the recommendation of the President of the Senate and the
Speaker of the House of Representatives, hereby make the following Regulations
under the Public Service Act 1922-1968.

Amendments
of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations
Hours of
duty—Officers other thou certain Officers of the Parliamentary Library, certain
Officers of the Joint House Department rand a certain Officer of the House of
Representatives.
1. Regulation 8
of the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended by
omitting paragraph (a) of
sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—
“(a) an
officer of the Parliamentary Library except an officer who is occupying, or
performing the duties of—
(i)
the office of Principal Librarian in the Legislative Reference Service;
(ii) an office of Legislative Research Specialist,
Grade 3, or Legislative Research Specialist, Grade 5, in the Legislative
Research Service; or
(iii)
the office of Senior Executive Officer in the Executive Branch;”.
Hours of
duty-certain Officers of the Parliamentary Library, certain Officers of the
Joint House Department and a certain Officer of the House of Representatives.
2. Regulation 8a of the Public Service (Parliamentary
Officers) Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following
paragraph:—
“(a) an
officer of the Parliamentary Library except an officer who is occupying, or
performing the duties of—
(i)
the office of Principal Librarian in the Legislative Reference Service;
