s1 2 s4 Public Service Management and Employment No. 394, 1995 Amendment (No. 2) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Public Service Management and Employment Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the PublicServiceManagementandEmployment Regulation 1988 . ˙ Amendment of s 79 (Remuneration package amount) 3.(1) Section 79(2)— omit, insert— ‘ (2) The remuneration package amount for a chief executive is— (a) the amount that applies to the package point 1 for the chief executive specified in schedule 1, column 2; or (b) if paragraph (a) does not apply—the chief executive’s remuneration package amount provided for under the chief executive’s contract of employment.’. (2) Section 79(3), ‘Subsection (2)’— omit, insert— ‘Subsection (2)(a)’. ˙ Amendment of s 80 (Variation of remuneration package amount under enterprise bargaining) 4. Section 80— insert— ‘ (6A) This section does not apply to a chief executive who has not been allocated to a package point.’. 1 Chief executives may be allocated to package points under section 84.

Section 84— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Allocation of package point for chief executives ‘ 84. When a person is appointed as a chief executive, the Governor in Council may allocate the chief executive to package point CEO.1, CEO.2 or CEO.3.’. ˙ Amendment of s 95 (Amounts for purposes of certain entitlements) 6. Section 95(2)— omit, insert— ‘ (2) The entitlement of a chief executive to prescribed payments is to be worked out using the amount— (a) specified in schedule 2, column 2 for the chief executive’s package point; or (b) if paragraph (a) does not apply—specified for the purpose under the chief executive’s contract of employment.’.
