This regulation may be cited as the Public Service Management and Employment Amendment Regulation 1992 . Amended regulation 2. The Public Service Management and Employment Regulation 1988 is amended as set out in this regulation. Replacement of s.7A (Prescribed day) 3. Section 7A— omit, insert—

2 Public Service Management and Employment Amendment Regulation 1992 ‘Prescribed day ‘7A. For the purposes of section 7(4)(a) of the Act, the later day prescribed is 30 April 1992. ’. Amendment of s.10 (Advertising of vacancies) 4. After section 10(2)(f)— insert— ‘ (g) an office— (i) to which it is intended to appoint an officer who holds another office at an equivalent level in the same department; and (ii) in relation to which, in the chief executive’s opinion, the efficient management of the department requires that such an appointment be made. ’.
