Act No. 98, 1985.

An Act to amend the Public Service Act, 1979, with respect to the application of that Act to the Government Insurance Office of New South Wales. [Assented to, 12th June, 1985.]

Public Service (Government Insurance Office) Amendment 1985

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

This Act may be cited as the "Public Service (Government Insurance Office) Amendment Act, 1985".

Commencement.

(1) Sections 1 and 2 shall commence on the date of assent to this Act. (2) Except as provided by subsection (1), this Act shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Government Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1985, in respect of Schedule 1 (4) to that Act.

Amendment of Act No. 89, 1979.

3.     (1) The Public Service Act, 1979, is amended in the manner set forth

in Schedule 1.

(2) The amendments made by this Act to Schedule 3 to the Public Service Act, 1979, and that Schedule as amended by this Act, may be amended in accordance with section 124 of the Public Service Act, 1979.

AMENDMENTS TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT, 1979.

(1) Schedule 2, Part 1 —

Omit the matter relating to the Government Insurance Office of New

South Wales.

(2) Schedule 3—

Insert, in appropriate alphabetical order:—

The Government Insurance Office of New South Wales (section

37).
