AN ACT to amend subsection (3) of section six of the

Public Service Appeal Board Act, 1920-1937.

[Assented to 25th November, 1941.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Public Service Appeal Short title.

Board Act Amendment Act, 1941, and shall be read as 193li,°...2;. °I

one with the Public Service Appeal Board Act, 1920- 1937 (No. 14 of 1920, as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1930 and amended by the Acts No. 19 of 1932, No. 29 of 1935, and No. 27 of 1937), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2.     (1) Subsection (3) of section six of the principal reroerst . °01.

Act is amended by adding to such subsection (3) a pro- viso as follows :—

Provided that the operation of this subsection shall be suspended during such time as the war, in which the Commonwealth of Australia is en- gaged at the time of the commencement of this proviso, continues, and for a period of one year after the Governor General of the said Common- wealth, acting in accordance with law, shall have declared that the said war has ended.
