s1 2 s4 Public Service Amendment (No. 1) No. 324, 1999 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Public Service Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1999 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Public Service Regulation 1997 . ˙ Insertion of new s 27D 3. Part 4, division 2— insert— ˙ ‘ References to replaced rulings ‘ 27D.(1) This section applies if a ruling mentioned in schedule 1 is repealed and a new ruling dealing with substantially the same subject matter is made to replace it. ‘ (2) A reference in schedule 1 to the repealed ruling is taken to be a reference to the new ruling.’. ˙ Amendment of sch 1 (Public sector units, their heads and applied provisions and rulings) 4.(1) Schedule 1, before item 1— insert— ‘ 1A. AUSTA Energy chief executive officer (a) sections 34 and 81 and part 7; (b)all of the entity’s public sector unit emp loyees —the provisions mentioned in paragraph (a); (c) rulings 11/96, part 3 and 31/99.’. (2) Schedule 1, item 1, column 1, ‘Burdekin Agricultural College’—
