Public Service Act Amendment Act. may be enforced by the Warden's Court upon the appli- cation of any person aggrieved, by the issue of an inj unction or other process according to the practice of the said Court: Provided further that if the Government should at any time construct and maintain any line of railway or tramway adjacent to any tramway mining lease, the lessee of such tramway mining lease shall not be entitled to claim any compensation from the Government for any losses that may accrue from such action of the Government, 8. [ ASSENTED TO 24TH DECEMBER., 1901.J STHE PUBALIO ERVIOE eT B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, AM1NDMENT by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- l~ fF lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - 1. This Act may be cited as " The Public Service Act Short title Amendment Act of 1901," and shall be read and construed and t t' with and as an amendment of " The Public Service Act of cons rnc Ion. 1896,"* hereinafter called the Principal Act. ------ ~ 60 Vic. "The Public Service Act Amendmf1nt Act of 1900"* is repealed. In section three of the Principal Act, the definition of Board is repealed. Sections six to twelve, both inclusive, of the said \ct are repealed. Late Public 4. From and after the commencement of this Act, ~ervice: Board. the Public Service Board constituted by the Principal Act shall be abolished, and the three members thereof shall retire from office as such members. From and after the commencement of this Act, ;~ ~~ ! :::Vice all the powers, authorities, and duties conferred or imposed by Ministers upon the Public Service Board may and shall be exercised of the Crown. and discharged by the members of the Executive Council, of whom not less than two shall form a quorum for the purposes of this Act; and the term" Board" when used in the Principal Act shall be construed to mean the members of the Executive Council. In this section the words "supernumerary clerical or professional work" include the work of messengers in the Public Service, and of Parliamentary messengers and ,library attendants.
