AN ACT to amend section fifty-two of the Public

Service Act, 1904-1972.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Public

amended.

2. Section 52 of the principal Act is amended

(a)

by repealing and re-enacting subsection (1) as follows

(1) On and from the first day of January, nineteen hundred and seventy- two, each officer is entitled to annual leave of absence for recreation for four weeks on full pay. ;

(b)

by deleting the word "sixty-three" in line three of paragraph (a) of subsection (4) and substituting the word "seventy-two"; and

(c)

by deleting the word "three" in line five of paragraph (a) of subsection (4) and substituting the word "four".
