Public Sector Management (General) Amendment Regulations 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Public Sector Management (General) Amendment Regulations 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2025.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Public Sector Management (General) Regulations 1994.

4.Regulation 4A amended

After regulation 4A(2) insert:

  For the purposes of section 4(5) of the Act, the Information Commissioner under the Information Commissioner Act 2024 is deemed to be the chief executive officer of the department designated under section 35 of the Act as the Office of the Information Commissioner.
