Public Sector Management (General)
Amendment Regulations 2005
Made by the Administrator in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the Public Sector Management (General)
Amendment Regulations 2005.
2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Public Sector
Management (General) Regulations 1994*.[* Reprint2 as at 25 July 2003. For amendments to 5 July 2005 see Western Australian
Legislation Information Tables for 2004, Table 4, p. 313.]
3. Regulation 8A amended
(1) Regulation 8A(3) is amended as follows —
(a) by deleting “(8) and (9)” and inserting instead — “ (6), (8) and (9) ”;
(b)
by deleting the Table to that subregulation and inserting the following Table instead —

Regulation 8A(5) is amended by deleting “, unless the CEO’s remuneration includes an allowance under subregulation (6),”.
(3) Regulation 8A(6) is repealed and the following subregulation is
inserted instead —“
(6) If the CEO’s employing authority is satisfied that the
remuneration otherwise payable under this regulation
would be insufficient in order to recruit and retain a
particular person as a particular non-SAT CEO, then —
(a) subregulations (3) and (4) do not apply; and (b)
the remuneration to be accorded that non-SAT CEO may be as determined by the employing authority.
”.
