G. Samuels, Governor. I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Part 3A of the Public Sector Management Act 1988, make the Order set out hereunder.

This Order is the Public Sector Management (Olympic Roads and Transport Authority) Order 1997.

2 Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 2 April 1997.

3 Establishment of new Department: section 55A

The Olympic Roads and Transport Authority is established as a department of the Public Service.

Clause 3 Public Sector Management Act 1988—Order

4 Amendment of Schedule 1:1section 55B

Schedule 1 to the Public Sector Management Act 1988 is amended by inserting in alphabetical order of departments the following matter:

Olympic Roads and Transport Chief Executive of the Authority
Authority

5     Responsible Minister: section 55C

The Minister for the Olympics is to be the Minister responsible for the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority established by clause 3.
